GPCO STATE MEETING: APRIL 6th
The Green Party of Colorado is excited to announce our upcoming State Meeting on April 6th, 2025. This crucial gathering will shape the future of our party and our impact on Colorado politics.
At this meeting, we will:
Discuss updates on "The Green Spring", elect a new Co-Chair and Secretary to help lead our party forward, and appoint members to vital committees: Messaging, Fundraising, Candidate Support, and Charter Support
The Colorado Wage Cutters Tracker
HB1208 is an attack on the Colorado working class - In an effort to empower voters and increase transparency around this issue, the Green Party has launched the Colorado Wage Cutters Tracker that will allow constituents to monitor how their state lawmakers vote on this critical bill.
This tool aims to hold elected officials accountable through grassroots phone calls, emails to ensure that the voices of working-class Coloradans are heard in the legislative process.
GPCO PRESENTS THE GREEN SPRING
The Green Party of Colorado will hold seven spring events statewide from March to June 2025, aiming to revitalize grassroots democracy through voter engagement and political empowerment.
"We believe in the power of grassroots democracy, and this spring, we're putting those words into action," said Patrick Dillon, Co-chair of the Green Party of Colorado. "Our mission is to create a Colorado that puts people over corporate profits and we do that by demanding a corruption free democracy.”
GPCO Statement: Desmond wallington - Leader and Friend
The Green Party of Colorado mourns with profound grief the recent passing of our beloved Co-Chair, Desmond Wallington. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his unwavering dedication to justice and equality.
Desmond's impact on his community and those around him cannot be overstated. He embodied the essence of what it means to fight for a more just, equitable, and inclusive Colorado. Every day, through both his words and, more importantly, his actions, Desmond demonstrated a steadfast commitment to these values.
It is now our mission to honor his legacy by continuing the fight for the principles he held dear. We will strive to create a democracy that truly represents all voices, an economy that prioritizes people over special interests, a healthcare system that recognizes healthcare as a human right, and a sustainable future that protects our fragile environment.
The Green Party of Colorado will forever be indebted to Desmond Wallington. We are eternally grateful to have known such a remarkable and beautiful soul, and we pledge to carry forward his vision with the same passion and determination he exemplified.
