BE THE FIRST TO KNOW WHEN THE DUOPOLY IS ON THE ATTACK
The Duopoly Accountability Project (DAP) is a new grassroots political watchdog initiative aimed at monitoring and responding to the actions of the Democratic and Republican parties at the federal, state, and local levels. We're here to put the "Duopoly" on notice by providing the public with independent transparency and the tools to hold elected officials from both major parties accountable for their legislation, votes, and policies.
A "Duopoly Watch" serves as a monitoring alert from the Green Party of Colorado, signaling that a specific situation, proposed bill, or political maneuver has the potential to be harmful to the working class, human rights, or reinforce control of the two-party system.
The purpose of a Duopoly Watch is to bring attention to an issue in the early stages, such as when a bill is newly introduced or when concerning rhetoric emerges from political leaders. It's a call to "keep an eye on this" situation as it unfolds.
Using a weather service analogy, a Duopoly Watch means conditions are favorable for the Democratic and/or Republican parties to pass a particular policy that the Green Party of Colorado considers damaging, even if it hasn't yet happened.
A "Duopoly Warning" is an imminent threat alert issued by the Green Party of Colorado to signal that a harmful action by the Democratic and/or Republican parties is either actively happening or about to occur.
The primary purpose of a Duopoly Warning is to mobilize immediate and widespread public grassroots opposition. It is reserved for critical moments, such as a final vote on a detrimental bill, a policy being signed into law, or any significant event that the Green Party of Colorado believes directly harms the working class, human rights, or reinforce control of the two-party system.
Duopoly Warning means that policy or event is striking now and requires an urgent response. The message is simple and urgent: “We need to take immediate grassroots political actions to respond to this threat!”
